Well, we decided to take the plunge and migrate the guild to Ravencrest. We've had some great times on Emeriss over the years; met some great players and good people and it's a place we've considered home for a long long time.

It will always be remembered with fondness, from the glory days when Firelords were a part of The Frozen Alliance, to recent times where the guild stood up on its own to tackle end-game content.

However, it was simply time to move to pastures new to try our hand at a more populated active server. So its goodbye Emeriss, hello Ravencrest.

After breezing through the first 4 bosses, it was all down to the final kill, Anub'arak. At around 8% it all began to go wrong. Everyone started to drop like the proverbial flies Anu eats for breakfast. At about 4%, we only had 2-3 few dps and a healer alive. After some keyboard-busting button pushing we managed to get him down - with Shosho the Shamen the last man standing.

We've been struggling with this one since July. Its been a long tough road, and its been difficult getting a regular team for weekly attempts - with several frustrating weeks spent with no attempts at all!
On 7th October 2009 we finally got the bugger down. It was a our penultimate attempt as time had nearly run out, and the big bang during phase 2 took us all by surprise - but we got the kill nonetheless.
